Life on the water - a dream for many. Swiss architects RAFAA Architecture & Designs make the dream a reality. Designers have recently won a contest and received funding for mass production of houseboats, called "the last resort". The contest was organized by the International Building Exhibition (Internationale Bauausstellung) in Germany. By the end of the year the houses go on sale. Floating house has five meters in width and 15 in length and is located on two levels. Mechanical equipment located on the ground floor and living quarters - kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms - at the top. Vertical blinds on the front protect the space from direct sunlight and create an atmosphere of confidentiality. On the roof of the ladder, and she serves as an additional deck. On the roof are solar panels that supply electricity to the house.
