Representatives of the international hotel chain Hilton Hotel Corporation signed an agreement to build five-star hotels under its brand in the capital of Montenegro - Podgorica. The first such object on the Balkans was built in the coastal Croatian city of Dubrovnik, according to Balkan Insight. The new hotel will be erected on the site of the former "Hotel Montenegro". Hotel Construction will begin in February 2011. It is designed for 210 rooms with all amenities. Investments in the project was not specified. According to the Hilton Hotel Corporation Ulrich Widmer, "hotel in Podgorica will play a key role in our expansion in the Balkans."
