The White House will launch a new program of assistance to mortgage borrowers

The administration of U.S. President Barack Obama plans to announce the launch of programs that will be required to help homeowners avoid foreclosure real estate. In particular, we plan to provide subsidies to borrowers whose debt exceeds the market value of the house.

The plan, which will be officially announced on Friday, will complement the programs of the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Housing Administration. Its implementation involves the use of funds from the program providing assistance to distressed companies (TARP).

The presidential administration faced last week with criticism from legislators who say the government is not helping enough homeowners to retain their property. This year, the number of procedures weaning real estate in the U.S., according to RealtyTrac Inc., Will grow to 4.5 million from 2.8 million in 2009.
